About

A smiling woman sitting cross-legged on a Pilates reformer machine in a fitness studio, with a potted plant, a folded yoga mat, and a chair in the background.

Maddie, the founder of The PT + Pilates Co., received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College.

A Massachusetts native, she is returning home to bring her expertise to the community she grew up in.

She is dedicated to bridging the gap between rehabilitation and long-term fitness, and a certified Pilates instructor, comprehensively trained by Polestar Pilates.

  • After incorporating Pilates into her own personal practice, Maddie quickly realized how deeply interconnected it was with the principles of physical therapy and knew she had to bring that same experience to her patients. Her clinical background spans a wide range of patients, helping people of all backgrounds and ability levels move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love. She has continued to grow her clinical skill set through advanced training in vestibular therapy and specialized Pilates applications for spinal cord injury, bringing a truly unique and comprehensive perspective to her practice.

Maddie believes that great physical therapy doesn't end at discharge, it extends into how you move every day. That belief led her to Polestar Pilates training, where she found a natural extension of her rehabilitation expertise, and a tool she now uses to bridge the gap between recovery and lasting results.

Outside of The PT + Pilates Co., Maddie loves playing with her puppy, exploring new restaurants and traveling whenever she can.
